Project Overview
The Player Profiles redesign modernized one of PFF’s highest-traffic entry points by introducing new player data sets, improving SEO-driven discoverability, and unifying the experience across web and app. The work focused on creating a faster, more scannable, and responsive profile layout that helps users quickly understand player performance while supporting PFF’s growing depth of data.
Problem
Player profiles were outdated and not designed to support expanding data sets, resulting in poor hierarchy, inconsistent experiences across web and app, and missed opportunities to capture high-intent, SEO-driven traffic from player searches.
Goal
Redesign player profiles to better surface PFF’s expanding data through clear hierarchy and responsive layouts, improve search discoverability, and deliver a consistent, scalable experience across web and mobile.
Outcome
The redesigned player profiles improved SEO performance for high-intent player searches while increasing engagement through clearer data hierarchy, improved scannability, and a more responsive layout. By unifying profile patterns across web and app, the project created a more consistent user experience and established a scalable foundation for future player data expansion.
